Description
We are a recruitment company and we are currently looking for a Systems Engineer - Fluid-Mechanical
The successful candidate will be required to carry out systems engineering activities associated with delivery of fluid-mechanical system elements of AAR pods and Fuselage Refuelling Units. Elements of responsibility may include equipment such as fuel pumps, hydraulic motors (and associated control), surge suppression systems, valves & actuators, ram air turbines, sensors, and braking systems.
As a Systems Engineer your key responsibilities will include
Preparation of technical estimates for non-recurring costs and manpower requirements
Requirements capture, validation and definition of verification strategy
Allocation of requirements to sub-systems and components
Preparation of specifications and other project documentation
Risk management
Technical management of external suppliers
Liaison with customers, internal and external
Liaison with specialists such as design, performance and ILS engineers
Liaison with other internal departments such as Product Support and Operations
As a Systems Engineer your experience and qualifications will ideally include
Mechanical/fluid-mechanical
Experience of fuel and hydraulic systems etc.
Significant number of years experience in an Aerospace environment within systems & new product development
Relevant degree or equivalent
