Syntech Recruitment Ltd is currently representing a dynamic and successful organization that specialises in the Manufacture of components for the Aero industry. We are currently recruiting skilled Stress Engineers to be based at their facility in Camberley, Surrey.
The Role
Produce technical documents, namely interface loads analysis, SEI substantiation, stress reports, Static test plans and reports.
Witness and provide documentary support, for product weight assessment and measurement.
Attain familiarity with technical specifications, aircraft regulations and company procedures and have the ability to review these and apply relevant criteria to the task in hand.
Implement technical specifications, aircraft regulations and company procedures to the task in hand
Demonstrate an understanding for fundamental engineering principles, their application to structures and material, especially related to the aerospace field.
Be able to recognise the most applicable method of structural substantiation required for a given task. Have an appreciation of the physical behaviour of metal and composite material under loading conditions.
Have used FEM, specifically NISA.
Liaise with external sub-contract companies when required.
Experience
Degree or HNC/D in Engineering discipline
Experience in aircraft cabin interior detailed structural analysis and composites.
Experience in FEM of aircraft cabin interiors.
Previously held signatory position for aircraft structures
In return, the company offers a salary up to 45,000
