Currently we have several large clients keen to recruit temporary Experienced Animal Technicians in your location.
About us: We are the UKs largest provider of Animal Technicians to the Life Sciences Industry. Our Animal Technicians work on some of the most important and diverse scientific research projects enabling lifesaving drugs to be developed to fight debilitating illnesses such as Cancer, Alzheimers and Diabetes.
The role: You would be working as part of a dedicated team providing high standards of animal care with rodents housed in IVCs. Typical daily duties involve general animal husbandry, cage cleaning, feeding, watering and general health checking. The candidate must hold either a Home Office License, recognised industry qualification such as IAT Certificate or have experience working in a structured laboratory environment.
The benefits: For a fixed term contract working with one of our clients you will be offered an hourly rate up to 10.00 per hour. Normally (depending on the client) you will also be eligible for an expenses package covering your travel costs.
About you: You must reside within daily commuting distance to Cambridge, be reliable, conscientious with the ability to work both as part of a team or on your own initiative.
