INTERIM 'GENERALIST' OPERATIONAL HR ADVISOR (12 MONTH ROLE) LOCATION: Luton SALARY AND BENEFITS: £31,000 COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is a well known site in Luton and this role would offer excellent exposure to a demanding, fast paced and ever changing working environment YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: -CIPD qualified -Strong HR background and an excellent background in employment law -Worked closely with all levels of site staff giving advice and making sure Best Practice is being rolled out -Worked for at least 4 years in a 'generalist' operational HR role -Worked in a high volume and busy organisation where no 2 days are the same -Previously worked in a unionised site -Strong ER (Employee Relations) background -Must have worked in a larger organisation with at least 800+ employees -Must have a strong performance management background and experience -Worked in a KPI driven organisation - where change management is key -In this organisation they are rolling out HR Projects and strategy for the next 12 months is around Performance Management, Change Management IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING: -Worked in a large busy organisation before that is unionised -Understand operational HR -Capable of influencing staff at all levels and can work closely with operational staff who are working in a very busy and demanding working environment -A strong confident manner and capable of making sure you can remotely manage staff to offer excellent HR Best Practice across a very varied, busy and demanding business -Previously worked in a busy Airport - in an HR role -Enjoy working in FMCG working environments and can hit the floor running -An operational mind - understand the pressures Managers face and work with them -Strong confident manner, experienced about assisting, influencing key employees remotely -Strong under-standing of unions, negotiation, working with them day-to-day -Previously worked in a KPI driven organisation ROLE INFORMATION: -This is an interim role with the possibility of going perm -You will be responsible for giving advice to Line Managers (around 800+) -At times can be stand alone -Also working closely with Head Office for Group -Working with unions and engaging -This role will involve some HR project work -A strong Performance Management and Change Management related role -This role is Mon - Fri - 37.5 hours per week -Start ASAP THE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY -Edwards & Pearce are a professional recruitment consultancy -Established in 1998 -Employ approx 40 staff -2 offices in Doncaster & Hull -Edwards & Pearce operates according to a strict ethical code and aims to offer both candidates and clients the highest levels of professionalism and customer service.
