Mental Health Project Worker

Our client a charitable organisation who provide support and supported accomodation for vulnerable clients urgently require an experienced Project Worker to join their team on a temporary project. The role will be part time (20hours per week) and will involve: Assessment of new referrals to the scheme and the completion of risk and needs assessments; Draft support plans, review and amend as appropriate through agreement with service user; Provide advocacy services, liaise with multiple agencies and assist service users to live independently; Offer advice and guidance around welfare benefits and liaise with LA HB departments to ensure relevant and correct welfare benefits were being received; Assist clients with housing and tenancy related matters and to assist in the delivery of housing management services to residents including repair monitoring, rent collection and void management; To apply for this role you will have experience in providing support to a mental health client group within a supported housing setting, have good knowledge surrounding welfare benefits and have excellent communication skills.
